During the first half of 2019, renewable electricity represented 55.2% (12 819 GWh) of the total electricity produced in mainland Portugal (23 206 GWh).
Renewable energies are the alternative sources of energy that present themselves in nature in a continuous and practically inexhaustible way. They are renewable sources of energy from natural resources, capable of regenerating in a short time and in a sustainable way.
Roma Andrade – Official Broker and Customs Representative is positioned, due to its specialization in electronic equipment, to meet the needs of technology import / export for this area so significant for our sustained development, leading to the reduction of the carbon footprint.
After the development of wind energy in our country, the future strategy is based on the development of solar panel parks that according to PNEC 2030 – National Energy and Climate Plan produce in 2018 – 0.7 GW and will reach in 20230 a production forecast between 7.8 – 9.3 GW.
Obtained by solar radiation on the earth, captured through photovoltaic cells, heliostats or thermal collectors, they are converted into electrical or thermal energy.
SOLAR PANELS – PHOTOVOLTAIC CELLS
The main elements that make up solar parks are:
- Photovoltaic module or solar / thermal panel.
- Load regulators.
